Fun roads are best enjoyed with a fun car. The Stampede and BOAR Runs* are open to sports cars of ALL makes, models, and ages ranging from Miatas, S2000s, and a 1966 Austin Healey Rally car to the latest Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren. Porsches usually represent the largest number of cars. You do NOT need an exotic or expensive car to be able to enjoy our tours. As you can see from the numerous pictures and video on our site, drivers come in all sorts of cars they enjoy driving. Feel free to consult with The Tourmaster if you are unsure about which car to bring. Motorcycles are welcome, too. We've never had a motorcycle on our tours but that doesn't mean you can't be the first!
RENT A HIGH-END OR EXOTIC SPORTS CAR
Several people have rented cars for our tours. If you don't own a sports car or if you don't want to drive your car to the start location or transport your car, The Tourmaster can help you find a sports car to rent. You can choose from a variety of late-model sports cars including Porsche 911 and Boxster; Nissan GT-R; Mercedes Benz SL-Class; BMW M2, M3, M4, M5, and i8; Chevrolet Corvette; Jaguar F-Type; Audi RS7; Maserati Quattroporte GTS; Cadillac ATS-V; Ford Focus ST or Mustang GT; and Mazda Miata.
PRIVATE PARKING AND OVERNIGHT SECURITY
It is very important to The Tourmaster that we park together and that our cars are protected. Private parking is arranged at every Stampede wherever possible. And off-duty police officers watch over our stallions and keep away strangers for 12 hours from evening to sunrise so that we may sleep in peace.
* BOAR Runs are shorter runs that start and end in the Austin area and are less than a full day of driving. These runs feature the most fun and scenic roads in the hill country surrounding Austin. BOAR stands for "Best of Austin's Roads".
